Fasting and what it does to the scale
Fasting creates one of the strongest deficits possible and speeds up glycogen depletion, which is when fat burning ramps up. The scale often looks great the next morning, but a lot of that drop is glycogen and water.
For your most accurate weigh-in after a fast, wait until two mornings after you resume eating. And remember that salt in water only covers sodium. Potassium and magnesium matter too.
